Follow a guide into the backcountry trails of Cougar Mountain, located just a 10-minute drive from Whistler Village. Roar through Whistler's old growth forests, up to some beautiful viewpoints. You have the option to drive alone or ride as a passenger.

Follow any map app to Sixteen Mile Creek Forest Service Road, Whistler BC. Turn off the highway at our large wooden sign that says Welcome to Cougar Mountain. Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled tour time. Complimentary parking is available at the venue.

After a safety briefing, follow your guide on a journey through the pristine backcountry trails of Cougar Mountain, a short distance from Whistler Village. Choose from three beginner and intermediate-level tours: Fresh Tracks Tour: Be first on the trails, and lay fresh tracks in the Whistler backcountry. 2-Hour Wilderness Tour: Tear through the terrain of Whistler Valley with a big smile on your face from all the amazing landscapes. 2.5-Hour BC Tour: Enjoy more time to explore old-growth forests and other breath-taking vistas, a little later in the day. Please note for all tours, during the COVID-19 Pandemic transportation will need to be via your own private vehicle or via taxi.

  • Not suited for pregnant women.
  • Children must be 4 feet tall and fit into XXS helmet.
  • Drivers must be 16 years old with a valid driver's license.
  • Recommended to wear ski jacket and pants, warm boots and gloves.

  • Fresh Tracks: 2.5 hours total, with approximately 1.75 hours ride time.
  • Wilderness Ride: 2 hours total, with approximately 1.25 hour ride time.
  • BC Tour: 2.5 hours total, with approximately 1.75 hours ride time.
  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Not recommended for travelers with back problems
  • Not recommended for pregnant travelers
  • No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
  • Most travelers can participate

  • Transportation to Cougar Mountain without a private vehicle will be at your own cost and is not included in the tour price
