Mango Pineapple Tour Group

Our tour guide, Danny, was AWESOME! He was funny, a bit goofy, and overall great. He combined his knowledge of the culture of Old San Juan with some great food and drink stops. We even squeezed in one or two extra stops and had an even better experience. Our only complaint is the vague meeting instructions given to us online. Since there are several Banco Popular locations, pinpointing the correct one would help. Thank you, Danny, for being the fearless leader of the Mango Pineapple group!

Javier was awesome! He shared information about the history of old San Juan as we walked to each of our food locations. It was fun to eat authentic a Puerto Rican food, and it was more food than we could eat. A very fun experience!

This was a very well organized and enjoyable food tour of old San Juan. Our guide was excellent! He did a great job educating us not only about the foods, but also about the culture and history of Puerto Rico! The tour was extremely well run, with everything set up prior to our arrival at each of the 5 stops.

This was a great way to learn a little history and enjoy great food. Linelle was a great guide. She was very knowledgeable, conscientious and was very good about keeping us on schedule. I wish I had done something like this the first time I had visited San Juan.

Making mofongo

Guide was Danny. High energy. Perhaps more than necessary---however, he recognizes this but unable to rein it in. Intends to provide a topis experience. For a first time visitor, this is a good introduction---got to make our own mofongo. For someone more experienced with PR cuisine, this may be too introductory.
