Excellent trip, not too strenuous
, Dec 2021
This was an amazing experience. My boyfriend and I are not particularly outdoorsy, and this was the perfect amount of activity for us. Our guide was GREAT! He was extremely knowledgeable about Puerto Rico and very friendly. He also was quick to offer to take photos throughout the experience, and he drove the van expertly. We heard from him the day prior to confirm our pick-up location and time. We went first to Angelito Trail to swim - I have read that this is at the end of some trips, but in hindsight, I'm glad we went at the beginning so that we were not in a big crowd at the swimming hole. There were probably about 20 people there including our group, more than enough room to comfortably walk on the rocks and swim. This was also the most strenuous 'hike' of the day, but it's manageable for most groups. There is an incline, but it was a very pleasant walk. We then travelled up to the rest area for a bathroom break, then stopped at Yokahu Tower which was gorgeous. It's about 90 stairs up, and the view at the top is breathtaking. Pictures do not do it justice! From there, we went to La Coca Falls which is also way better in person. There is a small trail you can take to get close to the falls - this is not for all groups. It's basically low-level rock climbing, but it was very cool to do! Finally, we stopped at one of the food vendors/gift shops in the park and bought amazing local food. Thank you to our wonderful guide for an unforgettable experience!

Not only the tour was professional but also accommodating. If there’s any bad reviews is because the reviewer was in a bad mood. 100% amazing day tour

El yunque was great with alberto!
, Sep 2021
Alberto was great! He took us to the towers in El Yunque, stopped anywhere we wanted. He then took us to the rivers outside and it was great! Amazing history lessons about the island on the way there as well. Everything about the excursion with Alberto was amazing! Very tentative to our needs

El Yunque Rainforest Tour Guides Could Do Better
, Mar 2020
Prior to the scheduled touring date of El Yunque Tropical Rainforest, Best Puerto Rico Tours's email response to questions was prompt & professional. On the tour date our group of 8 experienced minor problems meeting up with the van & tour guide; thank goodness for cell phones. While our tour guide was courteous & nice, he did not tell us any information about the history and biology of the rainforest area (which was supposed to be included in the tour)! He stopped at a few sights within the rainforest, took photos of our group, & left us to explore on our own. While driving to & from El Yunque our tour guide answered questions about the surrounding areas but only passengers in the front could hear him. A microphone sound system should have been set up in the van since the drive to El Yunque was at least 30+ minutes each way. We did stop for "lunch" & beverages to sample genuine Puerto Rican cuisine which was very nice. Also, El Yunque's portable toilets aren't clean; bring your own toilet paper.

Must see in Puerto Rico
, Mar 2020
We had a blast on this tour! The views from the top of the tower were amazing. The waterfall is close to the road, but the more adventurous can climb the rocks for a closer look. The hike may be a little strenuous for some, but the river was a perfect spot to relax and cool off. Pedro and Arturo were friendly and informative. We ended with an absolutely delicious lunch at a spot popular with the locals.

Benny is the Best Tour Guide
, Mar 2020
We highly recommend this tour! Our tour guide, Benny, was the best, very knowledgeable about the history of the island, and making sure we had a great time. He even claimed the rocks with my kids to keep them safe! Many tours show off the waterfalls and the beauty of the rainforest - not many give that kind of service!
