Not happy

I believe this was a rip off for what I paid, and we literally only stopped less than 20 minutes at each place

Hello Avonlea, We are sorry you feel frustrated about the tour. You experienced the first snow fall of the year. No one in the group was really prepared for that and did not wear the proper gear to spend a lot of time outside the van, including you. We do run tours year around and in the colder months there is a chance of low visibility, and snow. The mountains are dynamic environment. It makes our winter tours more unpredictable and adventurous. We hope you give us another chance and take a tour with us in a warmer month. We'll take care of you.

not as natural as I hoped but great tour guide.

I think it's impossible to touch the Rockies from Denver in a half day, so just know that you won't get much quality time with this particular tour. Shea, our host, was incredible, however! She was bright in spirit, knowledgeable, and responsive. However, the structure of the tour is not about natural beauty. The red rock ampitheater is a popular spot, but I would not describe Evergreen or Buffalo Bill's burial spot as 'natural' sites. We only had 15 minutes in Evergreen, and about 30 at the burial site, no time to get onto any sort of trail at all. I would emphasize that in your description of this trip- it's more for shopping and man-made sites than nature.

Hi Denise, Thank you for your feedback. We wish we could have shown you more of the Rocky Mountains. The tour you are reviewing is not the actual tour you were on. You agreed to be rebooked into the Denver Foothills Explorer Tour because the Rocky Mountain Escape did not meet the minimum requirement of passengers that morning. We generally are very transparent about the differences in tours. Please feel free to call us to discuss your experience in more detail. Thank you for booking with us.

All stops were to spend money in gift shops. 1 hour between 3 places and 3 hours in the van. Can’t recommend

Beautiful Trip into the Rockies.

We had a great half day trip. After leaving Denver we had a great drive through Clear Creek Canyon, with a quick stop to walk along a section of the P2P trails. Then up 10K+ feet to Echo Lake on Mt Evans. Final stop was in Idaho Springs for a very good Micro Brew. Our guide, Phillip from Philly, was knowledgeable and answered any questions. We had the bonus of visiting at peak fall foliage of the aspen trees, which were stunning.

Dillion I was great giving lots of informative information about the history of the rocks and area. Had us look for elk and we finally saw a huge herd of them. The stops at the different rock sites were amazing, beautiful places.
