The Basics

Red Rock Canyon, with its large formations of red rocks and ample outdoor activities, sits a world away from Las Vegas, despite being visible from the city. Rock climbers come to conquer the 3,000-foot (914-meter) red sandstone walls of Keystone Thrust, while mountain bikers find optimal conditions on the Mustang Trail. Some of the best views of the American Southwest landscape come from the Red Rock Canyon Overlook, a 13-mile scenic loop through the park that gives visitors a look at the Mojave Desert scenery from the comfort of a car or bicycle. Tour options are plentiful—horseback rides, guided hikes, electric bike rides, Segway, and scooter tours, or even a romantic hot air balloon ride.

Do it, you won’t be disappointed!!!!
This tour was excellent from start to finish!! Clay and Jeff were the best tour guides we’ve ever encountered. Their sense of humor made the trip the best part of our Vegas trip. They took time explaining everything and helped take pics for the whole group. Just a complete wonderful experience. I will definitely do it again when we come back and recommend to everyone i know. Thanks again guys!!!

Red Rock Canyon, Ghost Town and Seven Magic Mountain Tour with Private Option
I loved this tour very much. Highly recommend. First, on time arrival at hotel pick-up. There were snacks available. Due to COVID, the tour operator made sure there were few guests. Everyone wore masks and hand sanitizer was provided. The ride to these locations were smooth and without fault. Everything was great. Thank you so much for providing pick-up, drop off, and amazing views of Red Rock Canyon.

Red Rock Canyon Hiking Tour
People talk about the colors of Vegas but now that I have seen the sun hit Red Rock Canyon I know what they mean. Hardest part was picking which trail as I wanted to do all 3. Will be coming back to complete the journey. Our guide Chris was attentive And took us on a challenging trail and climb. He also gave us a geology lesson and educated us on native plants and animals. Safety was a priority (staff are vaccinated and wear masks in close quarters) great experience
Incredible tour experience!

Red Rock Canyon Electric Bike Half-Day Tour
While the beauty of the Red Rock Canyon was the highlight, we also learned of the geological history and the local history of the area. John and Allison presented an amazing tour. The ebikes were sooooo fun. My wife and I are over 60. The bikes were user friendly and the focus on safety was appreciated. If you get a chance try this tour. You won’t regret it.
The BEST tour experience!

Scooter Tours of Red Rock Canyon
What an amazing trip! Steve and Clay were our hosts and the entire experience could not have been better. We were picked up on time and it was a short ride to the canyon. Safety is a great concern and they take their time to teach you how to ride the Scooter. If you can ride a bike you can ride the Scooter. Red Rock Canyon is beautiful, and this was the BEST way to discover it. Water was provided and the Scooters have storage for your belongings.
Great sunset tour!!

Small Group Red Rock Canyon Sunset Tour Optional 7 Magic Mountains
We had a great time on our tour. Ruben was our driver. He picked us up promptly at our resort and took us to our first stop, 7 Magic Mountains. Such a colorful display! We then headed to Red Rock Canyon and visited the various view points along the route. I was impressed with the beauty of the area. I definitely recommend this tour.

Red Rock Canyon, 7 Magic Mountains, Boulder City and Hoover Dam Tour
We both were so glad we did it and felt like it was worth every penny and more. Matthew is an amazing tour guide. With my inquisitive mind, I ask a ton of questions. He answered them all enthusiastically and only had to admit he didn’t know a few times. The sights are gorgeous, and you’re missing out if you don’t take the time to see Red Rock Canyon while you’re here. Obviously, the Hoover Dam is a must see as well. Book it! You won’t regret it.

Things to See In and Around Red Rock Canyon

Because the Red Rock National Conservation Area covers such a sizable swathe of desert, it's home to many worthy natural attractions. The Calico Hills are one of the park's most famous sites, accessible via a moderate hiking trail. Visitors will find old agave roasting pits from Native American history along the Calico Tanks Trail, while Willow Springs boasts petroglyphs. Spring Mountain Ranch State Park, situated adjacent to Red Rock Canyon, was once a working ranch owned by millionaire Howard Hughes.
